BRIDE AND GROOM EXCHANGE EDIBLE “I DO’S” WITH CUSTOM-PRINTED MY M&M’S® CHOCOLATE CANDIES

Hackettstown, NJ, August 24, 2005 – Taking traditional wedding vows up a notch, winners of the MY M&M’S® Sweetest Wedding Contest, Jon Morse and Bonnie Brown of New Jersey, exchanged their wedding promise today by printing their “I do’s” directly on M&M’S® Candies. This unique and unforgettable vow exchange was made possible by one of the newest offerings from M&M’S called MY M&M’S, an exclusive online custom printing solution on http://www.mms.com.

MY M&M’S Candies offer a collection of 21 vibrant colors (from aqua green to dark pink) with 13 of its colors available for custom printing, providing creative ideas to use as gifts, celebrate everyday and special moments, and even weddings. Out of hundreds of entries, the Morse’s were chosen for their sweet story of romance and their fun-loving nature, and won an all-expense wedding at New York City’s exquisite Rainbow Room. The wedding came complete with food, dancing, elegant styling and out-ofthis-world chocolate creations from Tutera, who is known for his extravagant events for celebrities like Star Jones and Jennifer Lopez. Also courtesy of MY M&M’S Candies was a romantic six-night, seven-day honeymoon retreat to The Islands of the Bahamas for the newlyweds.

Morse, a NJ postal carrier, first met Brown while delivering mail to her office, where their courtship began over a bag of M&M’S® Peanut Candies. When Morse’s route changed, from her office to her home, Brown signaled it was she by leaving their favorite candy treat in the mailbox. The two have been together ever since.

MY M&M’S candies were included throughout the Morse/Brown wedding from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception. Tutera’s favorite creation for the wedding? A three-tiered all white wedding cake adorned with white MY M&M’S with the printed messages “Jon & Bonnie” and “Sweetest Couple”.

The couple celebrated their matrimony in front of 50 friends and family. Some of their clever phrases included “Mr. & Mrs.”, “XOXO”, and “Together Forever”, which were printed on MY M&M’S in their color scheme of white, light pink and dark pink.

MY M&M’S Brand Candies have been used in proposals (“Will You Marry Me?”) and engagement announcements (“She Said Yes”), and as Save-the-Date invitations, bridal shower favors and sweet table “candy bars” during the reception.
